MAGIC CHINESE-STYLE STEAMED FISH
Ingredients:
- 600-700 g whole lapu lapu, sliced at the back
- 2 stalks leeks, sliced
- ½ piece ginger, sliced
- water
- ½ cup peanut oil
For sauce, combine:
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- ½ tbsp. sesame oil
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tbsp. sugar
- ½ tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 8g sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
Procedure:
- 1. Line the bottom of a shallow pan with half the leeks and ginger. Place fish on top. Top with remaining leeks and ginger. Add about 2 inches of water and cover. Steam for 10-12 minutes with medium heat.
- 2. Heat peanut oil. To serve, pour hot oil and sauce over steamed fish.
