ARROZ CHICKEN ALA CUBANA IN ESPESYAL


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg. minced chicken meat
  • 1 pc. chopped onion
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2cup. raisins
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. seasoning powder
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 10 pcs. Pita bread
  • 5 pcs. ripe banana (saging Saba)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. white pepper powder
  • 10 g. chopped spring onion

Procedure:

  • 1. Sauté in sauce pan oil, garlic, onion, tomato paste, chicken stock, minced chicken until done. Add raisins, sugar, salt, pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes and set aside.
  • 2. Deep-fry banana until golden brown and set aside.
  • 3. Open each piece of Pita bread and fill it up with Arroz chicken a la cubana and fried banana.
  • 4. Roll and place on plate. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
